PDS-700 s to programowalne Serial-to-Ethernet urzdzenia serwerowe zaprojektowane aby sprosta najczstszym zapotrzebowaniom aplikacji Internet/Ethernet. Poza korzyci atwego w uyciu sterowania zdalnego twoich urzdze szeregowych poprzez Ethernet, PDS-700 posiada mocn i niezawodn struktur programistyczn Xserver aby mg zaprojektowa wydajne aplikacje Ethernetowe w jeden dzie.

PDS-700 jest zaprojektowane do pocznia urzdze RS-232/485/422 do sieci Ethernet. Przy pomocy programu VxComm, wbudowane porty COM w PDS-700 mog by zwirtualiziwane na standardowy port COM komputera nadrzdnego (hosta).Dziki zaletom niezalenego systemu operacyjnego, niezalenoci protokoowej, maych rozmiarw oraz elastycznoci, urzdzenia serwerowe s w stanie sprosta wymaganiom praktycznie kadej aplikacji przystosowanej do pracy w sieci.
